Raw Center for Strength offers a comprehensive performance enhancement training package design to improve performance in a short amount of time. Instructions include acceleration for sports, explosive power development, functional strength, learning the power cleans, strongman training and and advanced methods of training. Athletes are closely supervised as the coach takes them through an intense 1.5 hour workout and attention is always paid to proper technique and safety.

Sessions

Raw offers fall, winter, and spring sessions in a group training format Monday through Saturday and you may choose either the 2 day/week or 3 day/week program. We also offer a 1 or 2 day 1 hour in-season program for those who are in-season High School athletes, and would like to stay strong and functional during the season.

About the Training Session

The first half of every workout focuses on improving the ability to move. During this time, we focus on the following:

  • Myofascial release
  • Flexibility and muscle activation
  • Balance and stabilization
  • Acceleration development
  • Linear and lateral movement mechanics
  • Core (abdominal) strength
  • Explosive power
  • Injury reduction

The second half of the workout focuses on strength training to improve performance.

  • Power Cleans/Power Snatch techniques for sports
  • Functional movement training
  • Strongman/Strongwomen movement training
  • Strong focus on basic and correct technique
  • Each athlete follows a progressive performance training routine
